. A book after my own heart! This book was written by the founders of HAPPY BABY, Robert W. Sears, M.D., FAAP, and Amy Marlow, MPH, RD, CDN. The book is deliciously thick (399 pages!), yet easy-to-navigate.The book is broken up into logical sections which hold several chapters each:
Part One: The Happy (and Green!) Family (How to be a Green Family and Taking Care of Mama)
Part Two: The Happy (and Well-Fed! Baby) (Breastmilk & Bottle Feeding, Eating for Two, Solid Food, Healthy Foods, Mealtime Challenges and Practical Solutions)
Part Three: The Green and Happy Home (Green Products for Baby, How to Make a Green Home for Baby)
Part Four: Check, Please: A Checklist for Baby and Toddler Wellness
Pretty awesome, right? I love that it covers such a wide range of ages, because as you know, babies change so much, just day-to-day and it's hard to keep up with what's-what sometimes!
One of my favorite parts was the chart that detailed different types of food and their vitamin contents! What a great resource!
