These are SO easy and delicious!!!!!
Ingredients:
2 tsp salt
1 container filled with water (enough to cover the clams)
a dozen clams (throw out any that are already open)
1/2 cup water
lemon wedges
3 tsp butter (See clarified butter recipe here)
- Add salt to water container. Add clams. Let soak for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, rinse and scrub clam shells.
- Put 1/2 cup water in a pot. It should be enough to cover the bottom of the pot. Heat the water to a boil, place clams in the water.
- Reduce heat, place lid, and simmer for 10 minutes.
