Baby girl came down with croup and an awful cold this weekend, so I whipped up a kale smoothie to help soothe her throat and boost her vitamin C.
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen fruit (tropical blend)
1/2 cup milk
1 banana
1 tsp flax seed
1 orange
1 cup water (add more if needed)
1 cup kale
1. Place all ingredients in blender, puree until a smooth consistency.
This made enough for J and I to have large glasses, and for Ava to have a small cup.
